KNH Assures Services Won’t Be Disrupted as Nurses Protest Delayed Statutory Remittances

Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) assured that services will not be disrupted despite nurses threatening to strike over delayed statutory remittances and staff welfare concerns. In a statement, KNH confirmed that all staff salaries have been processed and paid up to March 2026, while committing to address the issues raised by the union. Kenya National Union of Nurses Secretary General Seth Panyako expressed concerns about the treatment of nurses and delays in statutory deductions, which have prevented many employees from withdrawing their salaries from banks.
