Yopougon: A clandestine unit for making fake chocolate dismantled

The Sanitary Police dismantled a clandestine fake chocolate manufacturing unit on June 9, 2026 in Yopougon's Banco 2 district, as part of Operation 'Epervier XI'. The raid seized 44 buckets of chocolate paste, a large drum, and 12 bags of chocolate sachets intended for sale. The unit belonged to a 62-year-old woman identified as K.K. and operated without complying with health standards.

Namibia: Critical Medicine Delivered

The Ministry of Health and Social Services announced the arrival and distribution of 37 critically needed medicines between 18 May and 4 June 2026. Executive director Penda Ithindi stated that these medicines, including treatments for hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, epilepsy and other chronic conditions, have been distributed into the national supply chain for use at hospitals and clinics.
