Tononoka Rolling Mills has challenged the Competition Authority of Kenya's (CAK) allegations of price-fixing, claiming there is no evidence to support these claims. The company was fined Sh62.72 million after the CAK imposed a total fine of Sh338.8 million on nine steel manufacturers. Tononoka escalated the matter to the High Court after its appeal was dismissed by the Competition Tribunal last July. The next hearing is scheduled for June 10.
