Misappropriated tontine: Verdict delivered, Ndeya Beauté placed under arrest

Merchant Ndeye Fatou Diatta, known as Ndeya Beauté, has been placed under arrest by the public prosecutor near the Dakar court for breach of trust involving 27 million CFA francs. Several complaints have been filed regarding a tontine whose funds were allegedly misappropriated, with eight civil parties partially reimbursed. Ndeya Beauté will appear before the Dakar court of immediate appearance to respond to the charges against her.
