Touba: High Tuberculosis Burden District, Health Authorities Raise Alarm

In 2025, 1,048 tuberculosis cases were diagnosed in the Touba health district, against a target of 1,124. Many patients arrive late due to overcrowding, self-medication, and reliance on traditional healers.
