Three babies born into Sudan war every minute, charity warns

Save the Children reports that at least three babies are born every minute in Sudan under dire conditions due to the conflict between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces. Since the war began in April 2023, there have been 5.6 million births, while millions survive on just one meal a day. Children are born in overcrowded shelters and damaged health facilities, facing widespread violence.
