Three out of ten families in DRC have poor food consumption (Report)

More than three-quarters of households in the Democratic Republic of the Congo live in food insecurity, according to a report published by the National Institute of Statistics and the World Food Programme. About 77.3% of households are affected, with nearly 27.7 million people facing acute hunger. Approximately three out of ten households have poor food consumption, leading to nutritional deficiencies. Experts recommend an urgent response to improve the situation.
