Troops kill 50 terrorists, top ISWAP commander in north-east

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have neutralized over 50 terrorists in northeast Nigeria, including a top ISWAP commander, Khalifa Umar, a member of the Shura Council, in a precision airstrike near Kirta and Arina Ciki. Three suspected logistics suppliers and a deserter soldier were arrested in Maiduguri. Weapons, a vehicle, and 30 liters of petrol were recovered. Sustained air offensives have forced insurgents to abandon island enclaves and disperse.
