Troops kill scores of Boko Haram terrorists in foiled attack in Borno

Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI neutralised numerous Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists during foiled attacks in various communities of Borno State between March 31 and April 4, 2026. A major confrontation occurred near Geidam, resulting in the death of three terrorists and the destruction of a logistics-laden vehicle. Additionally, operations led to the neutralisation of two more terrorists attempting to plant improvised explosive devices along the Konduga-Kawuri axis.
