The White House Correspondents' Dinner, originally scheduled for April 25, has been rescheduled to July 24 following an attempted attack. Suspect Thomas Cole Allen rushed the security checkpoint and exchanged gunfire, injuring a security officer whose bulletproof vest stopped a round. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were evacuated by the Secret Service.
