Trump says US strike killed Tren de Aragua gang boss with Venezuelan help

US President Donald Trump announced that US forces, in collaboration with Venezuela, killed Hector Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, also known as 'Niño Guerrero', the leader of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. The operation took place in the southeastern state of Bolivar. The gang, with about 7,000 members, was designated a terrorist organization by the US in February 2025.
