FG moves to secure First Niger Bridge, orders CCTV installation

The Federal Government has ordered the installation of closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras on the First Niger Bridge in Onitsha, Anambra State, due to reports of vandalism and theft of essential components. Minister of Works, Engr. Dave Umahi, expressed concern over the deterioration of the structure, including the theft of bolts and steel bars. He also instructed for immediate repairs and the restoration of the bridge's solar streetlights.
