Benin will face Argentina, Mexico, and Poland in the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, following a draw held on May 15 in Łódź. This historic participation comes after a successful qualification campaign where the U-20 Amazons eliminated Guinea, Egypt, Ivory Coast, and Tunisia. The tournament will take place from September 5 to 27, 2026, in Poland, featuring 24 teams, including four from Africa: Benin, Nigeria, Ghana, and Tanzania.
