U-20 WWCQ: Chombo confident Malawi can overturn first leg defeat to Falconets

Malawi head coach Maggie Chombo is optimistic her team can qualify for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup despite losing 2-0 to Nigeria's Falconets in the first leg. The Young Scorchers conceded an own goal in the 46th minute, followed by a second goal from Kindness Ifeanyi in the 57th minute. Chombo believes that having home advantage in the second leg at Bingu National Stadium on May 9 will help them overturn the deficit.
