Tinubu has done more for Nigeria than his predecessors in 16 years, says Dafinone

Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central, said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had done more to fix Nigeria than previous presidents over the past 16 years. At a meeting in Ughelli on Saturday with youth leaders from 250 communities in Ughelli South and Udu, he defended the government’s difficult economic policies and urged Nigerians to be patient. He also promoted his Senate re-election bid, saying his experience could help attract federal projects and youth programmes to the area.

Makinde made the allegation at a 2027 budget consultation at the University of Ibadan on Friday; the Presidency accused him of making misleading statements.
