NUJ raises alarm over criminals masquerading as Keke, Okada riders in Abia

The Abia State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has raised concerns over an influx of criminals posing as tricycle and motorcycle operators. In a communiqué signed by Chairman Chidi Asonye and Secretary Iyke Onuegbu, the union condemned the criminal activities that endanger passengers, especially at night. The NUJ called on the Abia Ministry of Transport to collaborate with Keke and Okada unions to profile members, and urged the government to organize security summits and employ forest guards to flush out criminals.
