Uganda: A suspected human trafficking network dismantled in Kampala

A crackdown by Ugandan immigration services led to the arrest of at least 231 people in Kampala, some of whom are believed to be trafficking victims. The operation was aided by information from local residents and initially targeted a group of Nigerians. The arrested individuals were found without identification documents in a building that operated as a self-contained complex.
