UGB: Abolition of Make-up Exams, Two Students Take Case to Supreme Court (photo)

Two third-year undergraduate students at Gaston Berger University (UGB) in Saint-Louis have filed a case with the Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court to challenge the abolition of make-up exams decided by the Academic Council. They argue that the measure violates LMD system regulations and changes evaluation procedures after teaching, infringing on student rights. The university justifies the decision as an exceptional reorganization of the academic calendar to meet deadlines and prevent semester invalidation.
