Missing Form Three Student Found Dead After Nanyuki Protest Shooting

The body of Sylvester Muigai Ndung'u, a 16-year-old Form Three student at Thingithu Secondary School, was found at Nanyuki Referral Hospital Mortuary after a two-day search. He was shot dead by police during protests against a U.S.-backed plan to build an Ebola quarantine facility at Laikipia Airbase. His mother, Lucy Kagure, a single mother of four, is seeking justice. At least three people have been killed in the ongoing protests now in their second week.
