Group rejects hike in WAEC, NECO fees, urges FG to reverse decision

The Campaign for Equal Rights and Opportunities for All Nigerians (CERON) condemned the Federal Government's approval of an increase in WAEC and NECO examination registration fees to N50,000, calling the decision insensitive amid economic hardship. CERON Secretary Francis Odiir urged the government to immediately reverse the hike, warning that it would worsen the out-of-school children crisis by forcing many students to drop out.
