Man charged after bomb hoax at Peter Kay show

A 19-year-old man, Omar Majed, has been charged with false communications following a bomb hoax that led to the evacuation of Peter Kay's show in Birmingham. The performance was interrupted 45 minutes in due to a report of a suspicious bag. Police conducted searches and found nothing suspicious. Ticket holders will be contacted by the outlet they originally purchased their tickets from regarding next steps.
