Suspected bandit arrested in Katsina with phones, motorcycle - Daily Post Nigeria

Troops from the 17 Brigade arrested Lawal Sani, a suspected bandit, on July 15, 2026 in Danmusa, Katsina State. During a search of his phone, soldiers found a video showing him carrying an AK-47 rifle. The suspect attempted to flee but was subdued. Security forces recovered a motorcycle, two mobile phones (Infinix and Tecno), a colored photocopy of a National ID card, a Moniepoint ATM card, an MTN SIM card, and ₦5,020 in cash.
