Third chemical smell hits Ogun secondary school, sends students, staff to hospital

A third strange chemical odor hit Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School in Ijebu-Ode, sending several students and staff to the hospital on June 3, 2026. This is the third such incident in three months in the area. State Commissioner for Environment Ola Oresanya stated that measures were taken, including deploying an Air Quality Monitoring device at Ijebu Ode Grammar School.
