Unmasked by his wife's photos, a drug baron attempts to evade extradition to the USA

Luis Picado Grijalba, a 44-year-old Costa Rican national, was arrested in London due to social media posts by his wife, Estefania McDonald Rodriguez. He is accused of large-scale cocaine trafficking and is facing extradition to the United States. Grijalba allegedly led a criminal network active from 2013 to 2024, receiving cocaine shipments from South America. The Westminster court has recommended his extradition, and the case is now with British Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood.
