Uproar greets INEC’s axing of Mark, Aregbesola

A political storm has erupted in Nigeria following the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) decision to de-recognize Senator David Mark and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as National Chairman and National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Additionally, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is seeking the forfeiture of 57 properties linked to former Attorney General Abubakar Malami, suspected to be proceeds of unlawful activities. President Bola Tinubu has also urged community leaders in Plateau State to unite in ending violence.
