Urgent 72-hour plan to manage Malawian deportations

The eThekwini Municipality has announced measures to manage the humanitarian crisis in Sherwood, where 6,000 to 10,000 Malawians are camping after anti-immigrant marches. Mayor Cyril Xaba activated the Drive-In site to relieve overcrowding at Sherwood and expedite deportations. Additional security has been deployed, and police maintain order.
