US military threatens to blockade all Iranian ports starting on Monday

The US military announced it will begin blockading all Iranian ports starting at 10 AM Eastern Time on April 13. This decision follows the failure of peace talks in Pakistan. US Central Command stated that the blockade will apply to all vessels entering or exiting Iranian ports but will not impede freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz for ships heading to non-Iranian ports.
