USA-Morocco: an African military training center soon to be installed in Tan-Tan

Morocco's Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) have officially announced the creation of a military center in Tan-Tan, southern Morocco. The African Multidomain Training and Experimentation Center (AMTEC) will include three facilities: multidomain training, a drone academy, and research and technology development. General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the FAR, highlighted that the project could foster defense industrial partnerships between Morocco and the United States. Completion is scheduled for 2030.
