Cyber Africa Forum 2026: Benin hosts 6th edition amid security challenges for Côte d'Ivoire

The sixth edition of the Cyber Africa Forum (CAF) will be held on November 16-17, 2026 in Cotonou, Benin, under the theme 'Building Digital Trust for Tomorrow'. Côte d'Ivoire, whose digital economy accounts for 6-8% of GDP, faces a dramatic rise in cybercrime: the Cybercrime Fight Platform (PLCC) handled 12,100 cases in 2024, with direct losses of nearly 7 billion FCFA. The forum introduces a College of Experts and a HackerLab in partnership with Benin's ASIN to stimulate young talent.
