The Cocoa and Coffee Farmers Alliance Association of Africa (COCEFAAA) disclosed that Africa earns less than 10% of the global chocolate market despite producing about 70% of the world's cocoa. Global President Adeola Adegoke announced a three-year development plan aimed at repositioning Africa within the cocoa and coffee value chains. He highlighted challenges faced by farmers, including low yields and stringent international compliance requirements.
