Tinubu under fire over fake agencies in federal civil service

The existence of fake agencies in Nigeria's federal civil service has drawn sharp criticism of President Bola Tinubu's administration. The Independent Corrupt Practices Commission revealed that the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) was a ghost agency that received budget allocations. Its self-proclaimed director-general, Adeniyi Adeyemi, was arrested after accusing a cabinet member of corruption, while the presidency dismissed the PFIPC as a fictitious agency.
