Vance heads to Budapest to shore up Orban’s support before Sunday vote

U.S. Vice President JD Vance is traveling to Budapest to support Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, whose Fidesz Party is facing a tough election. The White House announced that Vance would arrive in Hungary on Tuesday for two days of bilateral meetings. In February, U.S. President Donald Trump endorsed Orban ahead of the April 12 parliamentary elections.
