Vulnerable women being lured by illegal sperm donor 'delivery services' advertised on social media

A BBC Wales investigation found that women desperate to become parents are at risk of exploitation by predatory donors on social media. The reporter paid £100 to Robert Albon, known as Joe Donor, for a next-day sperm delivery. The sample arrived dead, chilled with a frozen carton of tomato passata. Albon claims to have fathered 180 children through unregulated donation and did not ask for identity verification or health checks.
