Opposition alliance gaining ground ahead of 2027, Lukman says

Salihu Lukman, an African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain and G100 convenor, says opposition parties are making progress towards an alliance ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general election. It says transparency is vital as Nigeria approaches the 2027 general elections and seeks to protect public confidence in the electoral process.

Di Rupo said Congolese lives deserve the same attention as Ukrainian lives and warned that violence could worsen, particularly after Joseph Kabila announced he would lead the Front for the Refoundation of the Nation, described as incorporating the Rwanda-backed M23.
