High Court Awards Blogger Ndiang’ui Kinyagia Ksh5 Million Over Police Raid

Tech entrepreneur and blogger Ndiang’ui Kinyagia has been awarded Ksh5 million by the High Court after police violated his constitutional rights during a June 2025 raid at his home. Justice Patricia Nyaundi ruled that police unlawfully entered Kinyagia’s residence and seized his belongings. The court also barred the Director of Public Prosecutions from prosecuting Kinyagia based on the investigations that led to the raid.
