Russia: Minor arrested after US warning of planned attack in Moscow

Russian authorities arrested a minor suspected of planning a large-scale attack on the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve in Moscow, following a security warning from the US embassy. The FSB said the teenager had allegedly posted a TikTok video wearing tactical clothing and holding an object resembling an automatic weapon, along with photos taken at the estate captioned, “I found a place.” Investigators reportedly found that he followed a neo-Nazi Telegram channel, had searched online for massacres and terrorist attacks, and kept air-gun replicas at home. The report recalls that Washington warned Moscow of a threat to large gatherings on March 7, 2024, 15 days before the Crocus City Hall attack killed more than 140 people.
