Spain: Pope Leo XIV blesses the new tower of the Sagrada Família, the tallest church in the world

Tens of thousands of faithful gathered in Barcelona for a historic ceremony marking the completion of the central tower of the Sagrada Família. Pope Leo XIV presided over a solemn mass and blessed the tower of Jesus Christ, the final element of Antoni Gaudí's project. Before the service, he prayed at the architect's tomb in the crypt. The event was the culmination of the pope's week-long visit to Spain.
