'Share security information promptly' - Gov Alia urges Benue residents

Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia called on residents to share security information promptly to enable swift response from security agencies. He spoke on Tuesday at the Och'Idoma palace after visiting to sympathize over a deadly attack on Otukpo-Nobi and other parts of Benue South Senatorial District. He announced a round-table meeting with affected communities and visited victims in hospital, promising to settle their medical bills. The governor urged calm and collaboration with security forces.

FCC warns MDAs against recruitment without approval

The Federal Character Commission (FCC) has warned Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) against conducting recruitment, promotions or other personnel-related exercises without the Commission's involvement, warning violators risk sanctions.
