Benin’s Criet: Driver denies knowing about ammunition found in vehicle

A driver arrested in Kandi with 3,000 12-gauge cartridges in his vehicle appeared before Benin’s Criet on October 19, 2026. The presiding judge questioned whether he was responsible for checking packages loaded into his vehicle. The case was adjourned until November 23, 2026, for prosecution submissions and closing arguments.
