Enhance use of digital speed cameras for traffic

Kenyan roads see an average of over 4,000 fatalities annually, about 10 deaths daily, causing significant socio-economic loss. Recently, digital speed cameras linked to the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) database have been installed. Motorists exceeding speed limits receive penalty tickets via their mobile phones, with fines ranging from 500 shillings for minor breaches to 10,000 shillings for higher excess speeds.
