Gunmen abduct 60-year-old trader in Ibadan

A 60-year-old building materials trader was abducted by armed men in the Monatan area of Ibadan, Oyo State, on Sunday evening. The incident occurred around 8:47 p.m. along the Jinarere axis of Alakia Road when the victim was intercepted while returning home. Police confirmed that four masked armed men accosted the trader and forcibly took him away in an unregistered ash-coloured Toyota Corolla. Efforts are ongoing to rescue the victim and apprehend the perpetrators.
