WAFCON 2026: Super Falcons, Ghana friendly called off

The planned pre-2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) international friendly between Nigeria's Super Falcons and Ghana's Black Queens has been called off due to unforeseen circumstances. The match was scheduled for Saturday at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca to prepare both teams for the tournament. The Super Falcons, defending champions, will begin their title defense against the Scorchers of Malawi at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat.
