We won't surrender to terrorists, bandits — Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu vowed that his administration will never succumb to terrorism, banditry or any form of criminal intimidation, while pledging to double efforts to reduce economic hardship. The assurance was conveyed by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, during a church service in Abuja marking the 2026 Democracy Day. Tinubu also urged Nigerians to reject violence and hate speech as the 2027 elections approach.
