EPL: Arteta reveals Saliba’s reaction to exclusion from Arsenal team photo

Mikel Arteta says William Saliba was not upset about missing Arsenal’s official team photo, taken this week. The club had said the French defender was absent because of a “medical appointment.” Arteta explained that the shoot went ahead after it had already been cancelled three times, with people booked for the session and other obligations involved. He hopes to arrange another photo with the whole team, while saying Saliba took the players’ banter in good spirits and knows how much he is loved.
