Mother, daughter shot dead as kidnappers storm Ondo community

Gunmen invaded the Igushin community in the Ala axis of Akure, Ondo State, killing a mother and her daughter. The woman, who owned a poultry farm, was shot dead along with her daughter in their home while the kidnappers attempted to abduct residents. The police confirmed the incident and have begun an investigation to apprehend the perpetrators. Two individuals were rescued during a swift operation, but the police expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of life.
