The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has zoned its 2027 presidential ticket to southern Nigeria for a single four-year term. Rabiu Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano State, recently addressed members of the NDC. Additionally, former FHA Executive Director Terwase Byuan has defected from the APC to the Labour Party (LP). Kingsley Chinda, an ally of Nyesom Wike, has been cleared by the APC to contest in the gubernatorial primaries.
