Pape Abdoulaye Seck, son of Idrissa Seck, placed under arrest in a blackmail and fraudulent withdrawal case

Pape Abdoulaye Seck, son of former Prime Minister Idrissa Seck, has been placed under arrest by the public prosecutor after being brought to the Dakar court. He is accused of blackmail and fraudulent withdrawal of over 10 million CFA francs following a complaint from Dame Amar, son of the late billionaire Ameth Amar. The latter claims that Pape Abdoulaye Seck took advantage of his trust to make withdrawals with his bank card and filmed him without his knowledge to threaten him with the release of the videos.
