Ruto Approves New Ksh 250M Naivasha-Malaba SGR Stations in Luanda

President William Ruto has approved the construction of a modern railway station in Luanda, Vihiga County, with a budget of Ksh 250 million. This decision follows concerns from regional leaders about the regional imbalance of the SGR project. Ruto also announced that a similar station will be built in Nyamira County to ensure inclusivity in infrastructure rollout. The Naivasha-Malaba SGR project aims to improve connectivity across nine counties by June 2027.
