Lagos tightens Ilera Eko enforcement, targets hospitals, expands access

The Lagos State Government has intensified enforcement of its compulsory health insurance scheme, ILERA EKO, focusing on healthcare providers. Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Health Management Agency, Dr. Emmanuella Zamba, announced the introduction of 'ILERA EKO EasyPay', a payment platform to ease enrollment. The agency also trained 72 journalists to raise public awareness about the importance of this program.
