Family Allowances: The State Hunts Down Fraudulent Child Declarations - Lebledparle

The Cameroonian government has launched an audit operation of family allowances to verify the authenticity of children declared as dependents by public employees. The steering committee of AALFA met Monday in Yaoundé. The number of declared children increased by 55% in 21 months, raising concerns. The goal is to identify fraudulent declarations, clean up the payroll file, and recover unduly paid amounts.
